Founded in 1951 as a newspaper for the person in the pew, The Record strives to present an accurate and comprehensive picture of the life of the church of Jesus Christ in the Diocese of Michigan, while challenging the minds and moving the hearts of Episcopalians. Started as a subscription-based publication, The Record began to circulate with Episcopal Life to every household in the diocese in 1995. Find a history of the newspaper HERE.
In 2010 The Record Newspaper shifted to The Record Magazine, a quarterly publication that augments the the overall diocesan communication startegy. Weekly updates of diocesan and local events are now distributed weekly through the Weekly Connection.
